Golf Croquet
The purpose of this tournament is to fill the Qualifying Places in the 2024 WCF GC World Championship. As of now there are four Qualifying Places reserved in the Championship; this number will be increased if any places are returned (withdrawn) after the Championship Cut-Off Date (September 2). Players in the Qualifier must be prepared to play up to six games in a day, and are expected to have made a firm commitment to play in the Championship if offered a Qualifying Place.
A player who has previously been offered, or who currently holds, a Ranking, Wild Card, or Membership place in the Championship is not eligible for the Qualifier.
The Allocation Date for this tournament was 14.7.24. As of that date, the event was over-subscribed: the event capacity is 40, and 62 apparently eligible entries have been received. As per the WCF Sports Regulations, the top 40 by World Ranking DGrade will receive places in the Qualifying Tournament. Please note that, unlike Ranking Places in the main Championship, the rankings used here do not need to be current.
Some of the names in the World Ranking database are similar enough that we would like to confirm that we have correctly identified all of the entries. Please review the list below, which shows names as they appear in the World Ranking, and DGrades as of 15.7.24 at 10:00 UK time. Please let us know as soon as possible if you discover any errors.
The Closing Date for the Qualifying Tournament is 29 September. Entries received on or before that date will be added to the Replacement Ranking List. If a space becomes available, it will be awarded to the highest-ranked player on the Replacement Ranking List, based on the World Ranking as published on that date.
