The United States Croquet Association (USCA) and the Croquet Foundation of America (CFA) regretfully announce that the 2027 US Open GC is cancelled.
It is with sincere disappointment that we are faced with postponing this tournament for a year, as we know it’s become a favorite of players near and far. Unfortunately, there are circumstances beyond our control which force this decision.
1) The AC Worlds to be held in New Zealand January 30 – February 7,
conflicts with our US Open GC dates of February 8 – 13.
2) Ramadan begins on February 7th, which deters our Egyptian players
from participating.
3) There were no further workable calendar date options for the
tournament in 2027.
Our goal is to announce dates very soon for the 2028 US Open GC. Once we have established suitable dates that do not pose conflicts on our international players, we will make the announcement.
We appreciate your support as we work to schedule future US Open dates and put them on the calendar.
