IF YOU WANT TO COMPETE IN THE USCA GC OPEN PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW CAREFULLY:

We are pleased to be sponsoring the first international US GC Open to be held at the National Croquet Center (NCC),  which is run by the Croquet Foundation of America (CFA) in West Palm Beach, FL, USA.  The tournament runs from Tuesday, January 6, 2024 to Saturday, January 11, 2024.  The US GC Open tournament and the US GC Open ProAm the day before are part of the same event.  The ProAm is a one day fund raiser that we request tournament players participate in to help fund this event.  The ProAm will also give tournament players a full day of practice on the lawns Monday before starting block play Tuesday.  The GC Open event will be one flight block play and a knockout with top ranked players from around the world.  Prized money has been donated by our sponsors.  More tournament details will follow.

Please send your indication of interest/request to play.  North American players that are members of USCA can login to the website and join the wait list directly.  Non-USCA members and overseas players can send their indication of interest/request to play be email to Johnny Mitchel, tournament@uscroquet.com.  Players with D-Grades above 2300 will be pre-allocated to the tournament upon USCA receiving their indication of interest/request to play before the allocation date and payment of their entry fee.  On the allocation date players will be admitted by D-Grade.  The allocation date will be November 1st.  Details of allocation are subject to change if needed.  If slots remain after allocation, players may be admitted as they register.  Limited hosting may be available for overseas players.  A block of hotel rooms nearby at discounted rates will also be available.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WEBSITE WILL SAY THE EVENT IS FULL BUT IT IS NOT!!! THIS HAS TO BE DONE IN ORDER TO CREATE THE WAIT LIST. 

Entry fees for North American players will be $250.  Entry fees for overseas players will be $150.  It is a goal of the event to provide a tournament that attracts top overseas players.  Attracting top world talent will provide good exposure for US based players and a domestic event to test their mettle.  To encourage their participation the USCA is offering a subsidized entry fee to overseas players.  USCA will notify you when you are admitted to the event.  You will then have 7 days to pay your invoice.  USCA members can pay on-line.  USCA is providing overseas members a free USCA membership for one year effective on payment of the entry fee to allow the players to compete in a USCA event.
